Episode 14 on TWE is a big WHY Conversation with Robert MacFarland out of KW St George Utah. In this episode Marcus and Robert discuss giving back as a larger part of your personal growth plan.
One of the big things that drew Robert and other agents to KW is KW’s focus on servant leadership. At the heart of Keller Williams’ culture is our shared commitment to community service. The immeasurable generosity of the team enables us to care for our own as well as our neighbors no matter the magnitude of what is needed. Robert and the office in St George recently served their community through the Utah Food Bank during 2021’s KW Red Day.
Marcus and his AZ team Green Group set up a charity several years ago. Green Group Gives. For Marcus, over his lifetime, one of the things that’s really helped him stay grounded and keep perspective, and that was contagious to his team’s perspective.
In Robert’s life, service and charitable giving have always been a major part of his life and now as a business owner his WHY. Marcus and Robert discuss that this charitable service is a muscle within us that’s got to be exercised throughout our life, so that as we become more influential in our communities we continue to build this muscle in our families and businesses.
How can you get into the habit of this servant leadership?

Kris Vogt is a respected leader in the Real Estate industry AND the endurance athlete community. Kris is originally from Wilton California just outside of Sacramento California. He has 30 years of real estate experience and has spent the last 3 years leading the Keller Williams Elk Grove office. Kris is a self described endurance athlete junkie and family man.
In this episode Marcus and Kris talk about the endurance mindset, mentorship and failing forward. Endurance training (and life) is a long game and it is all about staying the course, trusting your coach, running the training plan and leaning in to the “suck” when necessary.
A few years back Kris was challenged by his son to “practice what you preach” and that is what kicked off their endurance lifestyle together as father and son. Kris and Kyle will be running an iron man this year. Support them at Youth for Christ.
